What this viewer shows
Moblin keeps hundreds of settings, and its export is a single file that's hard to read. This viewer turns it into what you actually want to know:
- Streams: where each one goes, the protocol, codec, resolution, frame rate, bitrate in Mbps, SRT latency, adaptive bitrate, OBS remote control and chat channels.
- Scenes with the names and types of the widgets on them.
- Problems like Moblin's placeholder address left in, HEVC sent over RTMP to Twitch or Kick, a very low SRT latency for bonding, or the default Moblink password.
- Secrets: stream keys and stream IDs in URLs, the OBS WebSocket and remote control passwords, API keys, Discord webhooks and private locations. They're hidden on screen until you choose to show them.
Moblin itself warns not to share your settings, because they hold stream keys. Download without secrets makes a copy with every key, password, webhook and private location removed, so you can send it to someone helping you.
Ways to open your settings
- The export file: in Moblin, open Settings, then Import/export, and export. You get a
.moblinSettingsfile, which this page opens directly. - The clipboard: export to the clipboard in Moblin and paste here.

Moblin settings questions
Is it safe to open my Moblin settings here?
Yes. The file is read by your browser and nothing is uploaded or saved. Secrets are hidden on screen unless you click Show secrets.
How do I export my Moblin settings?
In Moblin, go to Settings, then Import/export. Export to a file to get a .moblinSettings file, or to the clipboard to paste the settings here.
Can I share my Moblin settings with someone helping me?
Share the copy from Download without secrets, not the original. It keeps your setup but removes stream keys, passwords, webhooks and private locations.
Does it change my settings?
No. It only reads them. To set up a stream on a phone, use the Moblin setup QR code maker.
